Castello di Cabbiavoli

Castello di Cabbiavoli's history dates back to 1210, when the Counts Alberti of Certaldo built it at the center of the Val d'Elsa, later transforming it into an elegant country mansion. The castle boasts a beautiful Baroque façade, and is sided by a brick tower which now serves as a romantic suite and a 13th Century chapel, where small wedding ceremonies have been performed since its erection. Wall frescoes of hunting scenes verified by their trophies adorn the halls and living quarters. An attentive staff care for guests' every need in this sumptuous residence turned informal holiday villa.
