Villa San Marcos

One of the most impressive beachfront properties in Trancoso standing amongst tall coconut trees which line an endless ocean of turquoise specked only by the white foam of its waves. The gigantic proportions of this property span from its eighty foot swimming pool to its wide and numerous wooden open terraces whose different levels host eight comfortable and private suites.
San Marcos’ grand and impressive safari-style structure is made entirely out of wood and seamless glass, effortlessly achieving a natural yet chic contemporary beachfront villa. The house’s split levels of open walkways, decking and terraces give it superb views of the beach and headlands without compromising its privacy. The bedrooms are simple, elegant but cosy with poster-beds swathed in sheer cotton awnings, nautical blue and white linen, shuttered sides and all have air conditioning and ceiling fans. Pristine gardens encircle the property and there’s a wooden bridge over a small river from the sitting area to the pool, where sunbeds are lined up to attention and there’s only a row of palms between you and the sandy surf. Hammocks drape themselves lazily between balcony pillars and large, inviting rattan sofas sit squarely whilst ceiling fans chop silently through the air above.
Private concierge and daily houselkeeping included.
