Villa Arcadia

On the Sicilian coastline between Palermo, Monreale, and Cefalù — in the heart of the Arab-Norman Palermo UNESCO World Heritage zone, with Sicily's greatest medieval cathedrals 40 minutes away — Villa Arcadia is an extraordinary complex of four independent structures arranged around one of the most spectacular private gardens on the island. Fifty metres from the sea, with its own private mooring, it accommodates groups of 8 to 18 guests across a setting that is as generous and theatrical as Sicily itself.
The garden is the property's defining masterpiece: a series of hanging terraces planted with an impressive collection of exotic palms, aromatic Mediterranean herbs, and tropical flowers, descending to a superb three-pool complex where the pools cascade into each other on different levels, linked by waterfalls. It is the kind of garden that takes years to create and a lifetime to appreciate. Outdoor living here is elevated to a genuine art form — a 180-square-metre open gazebo provides a vast shaded space for relaxation, reading, and long table dinners, while a fully equipped patio with BBQ and dining area extends the kitchen into the garden seamlessly.
The modern kitchen, lined with traditional Sicilian ceramics, gives the property its warm, characterful heart, and the exceptional staff — warmly praised by guests — ensure that every stay runs with effortless ease. The sea is a two-minute stroll away, and the boat mooring means the entire Sicilian coastline, with its hidden coves and crystal waters, is at guests' disposal from the moment they arrive.
