An historical residence dating back to the days of Tuscany's Grand Duchy, a private and aristocratic residence owned by the same family since 1860. Its structure, cypress-lined driveway, rose garden, elegant bedroom suites and formal halls bestow an air of past grandeur, with frescoes and materials that adorn the interiors. Nonetheless, today the atmosphere at Castello di Magona is laid-back, despite its fine setting.
The castle is located in southern Tuscany's Maremma region, close to the thermal waters at Venturina Terme, the sea and beaches at San Vincenzo and Piombino (ferries depart regularly to the Tuscan Archipelago islands), Castagneto Carducci and the wineland of Bolgheri (think Ornellaia wine).
