Podere Tramonto is a new entry for 2017: a lovingly restored Tuscan farmhouse with beautiful manicured gardens set amongst 17 hectares of olive trees in the Unesco World Heritage listed Val d'Orcia.
Restored in a very different, more industrial rustic style, the villa meanwhile maintains a fascinating atmosphere proper to the Tuscan farmhouse. The building wraps around a beautiful partiere garden of lavender with a statue of la bella donna as its centrepiece, and beyond this is a flower lined, private sunbathing area, that leads to the horizon plunge pool.
Tramonto (literally, Sunset) sleeps 8 guests (plus 2 additional beds) and is located in a strategic position, very close to the beautiful villages of Pienza and Monticchiello. Every room of the villa, including the four spacious bedrooms, boasts spectacular views of the Val d’Orcia valley or gardens. Each bedroom has its own travertine stone en suite with rain shower and air conditioning.
Sightseeing, restaurants, shopping, activities for kids, wineries, farms and other things to do in Val d’Orcia are all offered by the Podere Tramonto management in addition to the services included in the rental of the property. Only a 10 min drive to Pienza and Montepulciano with a spectacular 270 degree views of the valley set in beautiful, manicured gardens, featuring a personal chef, housekeeper and gardener, all fluent in English.
