Architect Gabriella Giuntoli has created many outstanding villas on the island – each a work of art – but Nemo has something more, perhaps because it is the result of a collaboration between Giuntoli and the current owner, a woman of great taste. The enormous garden (about 8 hectares) is brimming with personality, full of different moods, aspects, even memories, and is surrounded by 4 dammusi which converge around a huge elliptical swimming pool, in turn surrounded by a brilliant white solarium. The sea views from here are incredible. Within the original cisterns next to the dammusi exotic ‘relaxation areas’ have been created, strewn with cushions and awnings for shade. The central pavilion is the perfect place for an aperitif at sunset, or a magical dinner lit by lanterns. An enchanting place in which cinema and music stars of international repute have frequently been guests. Tenuta Nemo is an ideal spot from where to set out and discover the multi-faceted beauties of Pantelleria, like the Favare and other natural grottos and thermal springs, or swimming at nearby Nikà, one of the most romantic spots on the island.
The largest dammuso looks onto the garden, with a beautiful fountain. It consists of a large living room, TV room, dining room, three bedrooms (a double ensuite room, a twin and another double which share an outdoor bathroom), and a large and well equipped kitchen which opens onto a large Tunisian-style patio furnished with a large table and divans. A romantic path leads to the guest house, the Dammuso Sonnellino, comprising a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a patio and a swimming pool. About 100 metres from the main house, with a private entrance, is the Dammuso Le More with its double bedroom and ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, terrace and solarium. The fourth dammuso La Palma, with a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, is located below the main house a short distance from the swimming pool, immersed in the olive grove.
