A rare and superb edifice, many times reworked since its initial foudations were laid in Antiquity, the Phoenician lookout tower boasts views as far as the eye can see over the Talamone Bay and the many islands of Tuscan archipelago. Elba, Giglio, Montecristo and Giannutri majestically appear above the water on a clear day from the spacious first floor terrace which opens off the main living room. The four bedrooms in the main villa comfortably sleep 8 guests, two further doubles in the detached guesthouse off the pool deck sleep an extra 4. The position is strategic for exploring the great hinterland of the Maremma as well as the peninsula of Argentario (i.e. Porto Ercole and the infamous Il Pellicano Hotel) but the estate is utterly removed and private, with a steep but accessible staircase to the sea below it.
