One of Tuscany’s prettiest hilltowns with an array of wine bars and restaurants, Castellina in Chianti, is just 10 minutes by car.
Accommodation at Montesassi is spread across three floors with fully air-conditioned sleeping quarters. Three spacious living rooms adorned with a fine collection of antiques and bookcases are quipped with comfy sofas and grand fireplaces. The Tuscan country style kitchen and a large dining room that seats 14, though you will probably take most of your meals prepared by your in-villa cook, al fresco on the multiple outdoor dining terraces.
